It's important that your audio description script matches the frame rate and timecode offset of the video. Here's how to set the frame rate and timecode offset for your script on Frazier.

Go to settings from the project overview

How to set the frame rate and timecode offset
  1. Click on the three dots above the video preview and select "Settings".
  2. Adjust the timecode offset and frame rate under Video Source.
  3. Click on "Update Project".

Go to settings within the document

  1. First, make sure that you're in the editor. To do so, create a new document or click on your document in the project overview.
  2. Click on the gear symbol to the left of the navigation buttons to go to the settings.
  3. Adjust the timecode offset and frame rate under Video Source.
  4. Click on "Update Project".

Supported frame rates

Frazier currently supports the following frame rates:

  • 23.98 fps (cinema for TV/NTSC)
  • 24.00 fps (cinema)
  • 25.00 fps (TV/PAL)
  • 29.97 fps (TV/NTSC)
  • 30.00 fps
