Billing

The “Production” package is billed in two parts: a mandatory subscription fee and a consumption-based component based on the text-to-speech output and mixes produced.

1. Subscription

To access the features required for text-to-speech audio descriptions, you first need an active “Production” subscription. This subscription unlocks essential functionalities, such as neural voices, additional storage for your films, and the generated audio files. Similar to the “Authoring” subscription, you can choose from various plan options to suit your needs.

2. Audio Export and Automated Mix

If you have generated speech output or automated mixes during the current billing period, an additional charge will be included in your invoice for the following period.

  • Billing is tied to the first voice output: A project is billed in the billing period when voice output is initiated for the first time.

  • Unlimited exports and mixes: You can export and create mixes multiple times without incurring additional charges. This is especially useful for A/B testing (e.g., voice comparisons or varying mix settings) or during correction loops.

  • Billing based on the original film length: Charges are calculated based on the original video’s duration. Every started minute of the video is counted. Examples:

    • Original film length: 30:00 min -> Billed as 30 minutes
    • Original film length: 30:10 min -> Billed as 31 minutes
  • New edits = New project: Any newly edited video is treated as a separate project. To avoid unnecessary costs, ensure the final cut version of the video is ready before initiating voice output.
