Shared Links

You can temporarily invite a person who doesn’t have a Frazier Account to a project. The person can then listen to the audio description, comment, and optionally also edit the texts.

Activation

The Shared Links Plugin is deactivated by default and can be activated via the Plugin Page. Once activated, a new “Shared Links” section appears in your project overview.

Open the project you want to share and scroll down to the “Shared Links” section.

  1. Click on “New Shared Link”
  2. Enter a name in the “Guest” field.*
  3. Choose a “One-time Password”. This only works for this shared link and the current project.
  4. Choose a date from the “Valid until” dropdown list.
  5. Choose whether the person can edit the text or not.
  6. Click on “Create”.

*The name will later appear in the comments. You can also enter a general description here, such as “Review”, if you want to keep the access anonymous.

After the shared link has been created, you will be taken to an overview with the link and password.

Important: Save the link and password on your computer.

Please note that we currently cannot send emails from the system to external individuals. Therefore, please take care of forwarding the data yourself.

It is now possible to log into your project using the created link and the corresponding password.

  1. Open the link in a private browser window.
  2. Enter the one-time password and confirm the terms of use.
  3. Click on “Log In”.

If your guest needs more time, you can simply extend the shared link.

  1. Open the context menu for the person.
  2. Choose the “Edit” option.
  3. Set a new time period.
  4. Click on “update”.

If you delete a project, the shared links for the project will also be automatically deleted.
