Folders

Use folders to better organize your work. For instance, if you’re working on a series, you can group all the episodes into a folder to keep them separate from other projects.

Create a Folder

Click “Projects” on the left to open the project list.

  1. Open the context menu next to the “New Project” button.
  2. Select “New Folder…” from the menu.
  3. Give the folder a Name.
  4. Click “Create”.

Tip: You can add notes to a folder. Just like project notes, these will be visible in the editor. For example, you can link to external documents that are relevant to all projects within the folder..

Rename a Folder

  1. Open the folder’s context menu and select “Rename…”. Enter the new name in the prompt and click “Ok”.
  2. Alternatively, you can open the folder’s Settings page and change the name there.
  3. Click “OK” to confirm.

Delete a Folder

If you no longer need a folder, you can delete it.

  1. Open the folder’s context menu and select “Delete…”.
  2. A confirmation prompt will appear. Click “Delete” again to confirm.
  3. Click “Delete” and confirm the security prompt.

Tip: Before deleting a folder, double-check if you want to keep any projects inside it. Move or archive those projects first—once the folder is deleted, everything inside it is gone!

Move a Project

You can move a project to a different folder.

  1. Search for the project in the project list.
  2. In the project’s context menu, select “Move to…” and then choose the desired folder from the submenu.
  3. Alternatively, you can open the project settings and select a folder there.

Edit Folder Note

Navigate to your project list.

  1. Open the folder’s context menu and select “Settings…”.
  2. Edit the “Notes”.
  3. Click “Update”.
