The „Frazier-Loop“
When working in the editor, you’ll repeatedly go through the following three steps. To work as efficiently as possible, familiarize yourself with these workflows and the keyboard shortcuts.
1. Find a Gap in the Video
Play the video until you reach the point where you want to add a description, then create a new text block.
- Space Start/stop the video.
- Create a text block.
Tipp: Use the arrow keys for precise adjustments.
2. Create a Description
The timecode is added automatically, and the “Dialogue Information” field is focused.
- Add dialogue information.
- Tab Move to the next field.
- Write the description.
- Esc Close the text block.
Tip: Use “Tab” and “Shift + Tab” to quickly switch between fields.
3. Listen to the Description
The editor will now focus on the timeline, and a blue bar will appear, showing the duration of the spoken text.
- Space Start/stop the video.
