The „Frazier-Loop“

When working in the editor, you’ll repeatedly go through the following three steps. To work as efficiently as possible, familiarize yourself with these workflows and the keyboard shortcuts.

1. Find a Gap in the Video

Play the video until you reach the point where you want to add a description, then create a new text block.

  1. Space Start/stop the video.
  2. Create a text block.

Tipp: Use the arrow keys for precise adjustments.

2. Create a Description

The timecode is added automatically, and the “Dialogue Information” field is focused.

  1. Add dialogue information.
  2. Tab Move to the next field.
  3. Write the description.
  4. Esc Close the text block.

Tip: Use “Tab” and “Shift + Tab” to quickly switch between fields.

3. Listen to the Description

The editor will now focus on the timeline, and a blue bar will appear, showing the duration of the spoken text.

  1. Space Start/stop the video.
